RightPSI Selected by MSN | RightPSI Joins SEMA 2006

RightPSI, Inc. selected by MSN as having one of the top products at premier Automotive Trade Show

(BOZEMAN, MONTANA) 12/7/07 — RightPSI of Bozeman was selected by Microsoft Network as having one of the top automotive accessory products in the 2007 SEMA Show, the largest aftermarket automotive accessory trade show in the world. MSN’s Doug Newcomb chose RightPSI’s tire pressure indicator as a top “Cool Car Parts” from over 2000 exhibitors at the show in his MSN Tech and Gadget SEMA Show guide. A local start-up, RightPSI manufactures a tire cap that turns orange when a tire is low and black when it is full. Drivers can fill through the cap and it also acts as a tire gauge. The company was founded in November of 2005 and moved from California to Montana in 2006.

RightPSI president John Milanovich said, “We are excited that our product was selected from the thousands displayed at SEMA. There were over 130,000 visitors to the trade show and the response for our product was exceptional. The MSN article was icing on the cake for us! To be picked out of the 3 million square feet of presenters was pretty special.” MSN is globally ranked 5th in terms of internet traffic by Alexa Inc., with 19.5% internet users visiting the site. In the US, Quantcast ranks MSN 3rd with 62 million visitors during the month of June.

RightPSI’s tire pressure indicator is currently in testing and is expected to go into production during the first quarter 2008. “It is an exciting time for us,” said Milanovich. “The MSN article drove lots of folks to our website (www.rightpsi.com). After all the work we’ve put into this product, it is nice to see the response.”

Tire pressure is critical for gas savings, safety and from an environmental aspect. Motorists rank tire pressure as the 2nd most important safety issue and 84% of drivers say they are “concerned with their tire pressure”. However, 85% of Americans do not check their tire pressure correctly resulting in over 4 million tire service calls a year by AAA alone and an estimated 23,464 tow-away crashes caused by blowouts or flat tires.

Tire pressure affects the environment and economy too. Mr. Milanovich noted that “people drive on low tires all the time. One in four cars is driving on at least one tire 25% below the recommended pressure. There is an environmental impact because low tire pressure decreases fuel efficiency by 1% for every tire 2.96 psi below placard. Just 6 psi low costs someone 1 mpg. This costs drivers more in gas and tire wear. Improving fuel economy by just 1 mpg would save 400,000 barrels of oil per day. This would reduce the trade deficit by $28 billion per year at $90 oil. Consider too that for every gallon of gas used, 20lbs of CO2 is emitted. These are not small numbers – tire pressure is an easy way to save money while decreasing pollution.”

RightPSITM is a Bozeman, Montana based company focused on tire pressure management systems. Founded November 1, 2005 the company is currently in the manufacturing phase and has working prototypes for its aftermarket product. The company holds one patent for its aftermarket product and has two other patents pending.
